PWM Pumps: PWM-Ready Pumps for Precise Control
Our PWM-ready pumps are designed for precise speed and flow control using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology. Unlike standard Marco DC pumps, these PWM pumps models feature special brush holders in the motor, without EMI filters, ensuring full compatibility with PWM control.
What is PWM?
Think of PWM like a dimmer switch for your pump. Instead of running at full power all the time, the pump receives rapid pulses of power, allowing you to adjust speed smoothly and efficiently. This means:
✔ Fine-tuned flow rates
✔ Lower power consumption
✔ Less wear on components
Since the standard DC motors of the Marco pumps with EMI filters can’t work with PWM, these pumps are specifically built without EMI filters, making them the perfect choice for applications requiring precise, real-time control.
What are EMI Filters?
EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) filters are components that reduce electrical noise in DC motors. They help prevent interference with other electronic devices, like radios or sensors.
Think of EMI filters like noise-canceling headphones—they block unwanted electrical “buzz” from the motor. However, these filters also interfere with PWM control, which is why our PWM-ready pumps are built without them.
By removing the EMI filters, these pumps can fully support PWM signals, allowing for precise speed and flow adjustments without issues. If you need smooth, controlled performance, these pumps are the ideal choice!
To remove the EMI filters from the brush holder, you must completely disassemble and reassemble your pump.
If you do not wish to perform this task, please order the pump without the EMI filters
